Listening. Learning. Leading Together.

Every Voice Matters

For 15 years, I've worked to bring people together and ensure communities are heard. As a parent in School District 43 and a proud Coquitlam resident, I'm running for School Trustee to help shape a stronger future for our schools.

Building schools where every student can learn, belong, and thrive.

Why I Am Running for School Trustee

I believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed in an environment where they feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

As both a parent and a community engagement leader, I have seen how strong schools are built through collaboration among students, families, educators, and the broader community. Throughout my career in education and healthcare, I have worked alongside diverse communities, listening to their experiences and helping turn their ideas into meaningful action.

Our schools are facing increasing challenges, including growing enrolment, student mental health needs, changing learning environments, and financial pressures. I want to help ensure that decisions are thoughtful, transparent, and always centred on what is best for students.

I am committed to building a school system where every learner has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while ensuring public resources are managed responsibly for future generations.

I believe the best decisions are made by listening carefully to those affected, considering different perspectives, relying on evidence, and acting in the long-term best interests of students.

  • Putting students at the centre of every decision.

  • Treating every student, family, and staff member with dignity and respect.

  • Supporting equity by ensuring every learner has access to opportunities to succeed.

  • Working collaboratively with parents, educators, Indigenous communities, and community partners.

  • Being transparent, fiscally responsible, and accountable to the public.

Values That Guide Me

ABOUT

Integrity, Inclusion, Respect, Collaboration, and Accountability.

I am a community engagement leader, parent, and long-time Tri-Cities resident committed to strengthening public education. With more than 15 years of experience bringing together families, educators, healthcare partners, and community organizations, I believe that the best decisions are made by listening, collaborating, and putting students first.

I am running for School Trustee because every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where they can thrive. I am committed to responsible governance, meaningful parent engagement, transparency, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

A Vision Into Action.

I have worked in leadership roles focused on community engagement, strategic planning, and building partnerships across education and healthcare.

At School District 43, I worked directly with schools, families, and community organizations to understand community needs, develop responsive programs, secure funding, and build partnerships that benefited students and families.

Today, as Leader of Community Engagement at Fraser Health, I lead regional engagement initiatives, facilitate consultations, work with diverse communities—including Indigenous partners—and provide strategic advice to senior leadership. My work requires balancing different perspectives, making evidence-informed recommendations, and ensuring transparency and accountability.
